I wonder if they'll bring back Edmonson to handle the media. He was the only one last time who looked like he knew what he was doing.

instead of allowing more leeway with protesters that beak the law we need to stiffen up the consequences/fines/jail time on them. We keep giving up to much and as usual you give an inch they take a mile.

A good mandatory 6 months to a year no bail would make a lot of them think twice

Thunder and lightning arriving just in time....

How long until one of these fools says that Trump used Dubyas weather weapon to stop their protests?

100% chance that John Bel Edwards assigns a "special prosecutor".

He's retired and enjoying life.

What a great time for him to be away from this shite show.

I wonder how many people realize that there is no Trump/Session's appointee in charge at the Middle District? The U.S. Attorney General who primarily handled the file - Walt Green - stepped down last month. He was appointed by Obama. The interm U.S. Attorney for the Middle District has been there since 2002.

Didn't the cops taze Alton twice and yet he was still fighting with the cops? Or am I misremembering?

is there any amount of evidence that could be told today that would convince most of them it was a justified kill?

He can't.

Only Jeff Landry can determine who prosecutes this case - either his office or a special prosecutor. In Louisiana, State AG is an elected position and doesn't serve under the Governor.

Seriously, somebody should post a slowed down video (using both angles), with pauses and commentary to explain what happened.

Also, right before the shots, you see BOTH cops are startled by something at the exact same time.

Half the OT is going to jail for attacking a certain someone, at least it will be a party.
