My son signed up for a program at a Cc today. They take 16 students a year and about 6 actually finish the course. I foresee a boom for these guys for the next 20 years.

Got offers for a bunch of Div 3 and a couple of Div 2 teams. The most compelling was one close to us, Hampden Sydney in Farmville Va. Male only, liberal arts / business, created in 1775, every building on the Natl Historic sites registry. Bunch of rich families, lots of alumni, tradition. I did the parents tour. They have beaucoup money. The football facilities for a div3 team were amazing.
i went to hampden-sydney. i thought my family was wealthy - that ended the first day i got there. jp morgan's great grandson lived down the hall in my dorm, as did a dupont
it's a very cool school. can't say i'd do it again understanding as i do now how expensive it is but the history and tradition is incredible. patrick henry and james madison were on the original board of trustees. it's the 10th oldest college in the usa
go tigers!
eta - oh and congrats to your son

Plumbers
Electricians
HVAC
All traded that we will need for a long LONG time!!
My friend makes a killing installing whole home generators along thre gulf coast... he does zero plumbing of gas lines, but makes sure the homeowner had it lined up with whatever company they choose
He also wires prefab shops for lighting, running conduit and wires
He's killing it

2 of the wealthiest self made successful dudes i know both build/maintain pools. they don't know each other - one lives in nc, one in texas. both started working as a pool cleaner in high school and wound up founding their own companies. the guy from nc owns houses in europe and costa rica, surfs and lives on his sailboat for a lot of the summer, skis at the yellowstone club a couple times a year
