You mean this Hawking?
The English theoretical physicist and cosmologist, Stephen Hawking, surprised the scientific community last week when he announced during a speech at the University of Cambridge that he believed that “some form of intelligence” was actually behind the creation of the Universe.

I really don't care to search for such links, do so and you'll find it. Hell Discovery Science or History had a special on it a year or so ago.

You are a straight up liar. He may have said that he doesn't believe in a God. He has probably said that evidence has pointed him in that direction. He has never said that "God has been disproven." It is dishonest rhetoric that people who lack integrity like you use to create a straw man argument. It's sad.

Point is that Hawking comes across as elitist and disrespectful in his analysis of Trump supporters. Criticizing Trump is one thing but assuming that all of his supporters must be the "lowest common denominator" lacks both sufficient insight on the group as a whole and any semblance of compassion for people who feel the need to support him.

He marginalized Trump supporters with a cheap shot description without offering any kind of help or suggestions for them. It was just a shitty comment that I would expect someone like Hawking to refrain from using considering how much help he has received in his life.

No one has ever done this more than Trump. It's a daily occurrence.

Dude even pussed out of his debate with old man Bernie.

Trump supporters love Trump for telling it like it is.

When someone else does the same thing they go into meltdown mode. The fragile psyche of your avg Trump supporter is fascinating.

I know you're being sarcastic, but obviously there will be exceptions, but far and away the Trump base IS the lowest common denominator.

I find the whole thing equally troubling AND ironic since this exact strategy was widely panned when it helped get Obama in office twice. Different sides of the aisle but the same sort of impossible to implement rhetoric and vitriol towards the other side. Whip people up into a frenzy, get them to vote, and then forget about them for another 3 years while you're in office until you run for reelection.

So because he has a disability he can not have opinions. Got it. "He has received help he can't be critical of other people." Do you people really exist?

Is it really "telling it like it is" when Trump gets up in arms when anyone questions him in the slightest bit? For a 'Merica, frick yea type he is extremely thin skinned.

Even if I concede this point, I don't see what it has to do with this:

Yep. The hypocrisy and profound ignorance coming from the Poliboard and the hard right in general is simply astounding. What's the difference between "Change" and "Make America Great Again"? Trump uses the same type of argument Barry did, but they're all too stupid to understand this.

As best I can figure, he means to equate the mental state of being a Trump supporter with the physical state of suffering from ALS.

Newton gave up on several theories he couldn't solve and said "God did it", despite the fact that most of these problems have since been solved by later scientists. This argument is called the "God of the Gaps", and it's simply insulting to most people's intelligence.
