Hawking says Trump "is a demagogue who seems to appeal to the lowest common denominator."
This is a true statement!
I recently saw a comedian do a skit about elections. He said each ballot should have "None of the above" at the bottom of each ballot. If "None of the above" wins the election, then they should void the first election and have another election with all the previous candidates barred from the second election.
I thought this was really funny.
Then Trump came along. I believe Trump is the "None of the above" candidate. That is why he is so popular.
People are fed up with the current situation and the "experts" just don't understand how strong that feeling is nationwide.
Several weeks ago, a poll was released saying head-to-head, Clinton had 76% of the votes and Trump had 24%. 10 days later the headline was "Trump within 6 points of Clinton". How did Trump go from 24% to 47% in 10 days? Especially with the Republican leadership saying to not vote for Trump? And the rioters/protestors at Trump rallies.
The media is screwing with the public and the true politicians have lost all credibility.
For a lot of people, Trump is the right person at the right time. He allows the public to say "None of the above".
