Absolutely. And I personally have no problem with him. It's just the media driven world we live in where we have to know Kanye's opinion on global warming or Shaq's views on animal rights. Why is any of it relevant? It's like stay at home mom's on facebook patrol the news pages and let us know what we should do with that drug dealer who just got arrested. Who cares?

Well, he's not wrong.
I would think the lowest common denominator's are the ones leaching off the government, not working for a paycheck, and live is the poorest conditions out of any demographic.....

Those are not Trump Supporters.

Are you really saying that these two are equally valid?

I get that celebrities' and their opinions can be annoying, but what allows you to discount a well respected mind like Hawking?

Whose opinions should we listen to? Just the Anne Coulters and Al Frankens of the world?

can you highlight the point which is supposed to undermind his mental capacity.

Also, I'm sure he isn't the same person he was 20/30 years ago but the irony of fricking tiger droppings off-topic board posters trying to lol at stephen hawking has certainly brightened my day.

This is a sound byte of a question he should've never answered.

The REAL QUESTION he was asked was

"IF ABORTION WAS ILLEGAL do you think a woman should be punished for having one"

Of course if something was illegal you can't not be punished. The news would spin it as Trump doesn't believe in enforcing laws. But he said what he should have said and now we have people like you believing he wants to punish women for having legal abortions.

Things aren't always what they seem. The media agenda against Trump is like none other before. The establishment is incredibly afraid of him.
You've missed the point of the abortion comment and what was wrong with it. The vast majority of pro-life advocates agree that if abortion were illegal, women who get illegal abortions should still not be punished. Only people who provide abortions should be punished.

Trump's comment showed how totally out of touch he was with the people to whom he was pandering.

You don't know when an apostrophe should be used, so it seems like you're among the lowest common denominators.

Everyone is judged on multiple fronts... What makes Hawking any different?

have you met the man? just how you are in awe of people giving their opinion of him that have never met him, makes your opinion just as invalid of theirs.

Yep. The hypocrisy and profound ignorance coming from the Poliboard and the hard right in general is simply astounding. What's the difference between "Change" and "Make America Great Again"? Trump uses the same type of argument Barry did, but they're all too stupid to understand this.

No, they're quite aware. They believe the only way reps can win again is to use Barry's tactics.

A. Nobody is perfect and free from fault.
B. You don't actually know anything about the guy's personal life and motivations. I'm assuming you are an adult. As an adult you should have realized by now that you never know the particulars of other people's personal relationships. You claim his "loving wife." Were you married to her? Were you living in their house with them? And further more what does this have to do with the price of tea in China or his professional and intellectual accomplishments?

judged for being handicapped?

And are you also judging based on a personal relationship which you have no fricking clue what actually happened. Just keep on making jokes - reminds me of this.

quote:

I started a joke which started the whole world crying
But I didn't see that the joke was on me oh no
I started to cry which started the whole world laughing
Oh If I'd only seen that the joke was on me

You realize his first wife developed romantic feelings for another man first, right? She and her romantic interest agreed not to break up the family, but it wasn't like she got left holding the bag or anything

edit: btw she ended up marrying that guy, who was a family friend
