Yep absolutely insane!! Chris Nakamoto says he will report on this every week until she goes to prison! He too is livid over her being paid after admitting to stealing!

Good for Chris.

That said, his integrity is on par with those who he investigates.

Sheriff’s Office employees are not Civil Service. Employment is at discretion of sheriff

My mistake, I didn’t read the link and confused this with the one involving the La. State Board of Private Security Examiners Director.

The people of WBR need to rise up and demand an answer from Cazes as to why somebody allowed to steal their 150k in their tax dollars is still getting paid with their tax dollars.

probably Cazes' side piece... or one of them

Remember her?

Victoria Gosserand

This well-connected woman kills a girl in Pointe Coupee Parish while DWI and serves her "sentence" in WBR as Mike Cazes file clerk and office lackey. Most other women in her position would've been in St. Gabriel at the LCIW, but she got sent to WBR because Pointe Coupee wasn't equipped to hold women.

So, Miller turned herself in on Friday but did so after WBRSO made sure things were comfortable for her. She hung out for about 45 minutes and then went in, escorted by the sheriffs son in law, and was in and out in no time. WBRZ and Nakamoto were tipped off and ready to catch the footage. So now WBRSO is opening an investigation into who tipped them off instead of worrying about the woman who stole $150,000 from their citizens.

It’s incredible the lengths Cazes will go to help this thief. What in the world is going on? And involving his son in law?! Isn’t he running for sheriff?

You think civil service or unions require you to keep paying a person that got caught stealing and has admitted to stealing?

Does that mean cops can steal small amounts and there be basically zero repercussions?

Exactly. Someone else knows something and needs to speak up. What does this woman, who does not live or come from WBR, know. She made her connections working there. She stumbled on to something or was brought into the inner circle for a reason. Someone knows.

If it’s like Livingston then it’s pedophiles. If it’s like Orleans it is graft or dudes that like to dress up like babies. If it’s like Baton Rouge, he’s hitting the side piece and she’s videoing it.

Has anybody looked to see if anybody has died while being arrested or shortly after an arrest in WBR?

It really could be all sorts of things. The one thing I do know is he says snitch in one of these videos. He knows there’s a snitch. There’s probably a reason he isn’t running for re-election.

Why doesn’t one of the Baws here run against Cazes this year?

I’ll write a check.

I came here looking for an alter of one of Cazes' minions or possible Cazes himself, in this thread. Disappoint.

Sheriff problem now is employees are giving Nakamoto info. People are probably pissed #1 that Lesbian chick getting paid 72K for clerks cal job and #2 got away with stealing when others got slammed for much less.
Creating morale issues in the office or sharing salary/ bonus info gets you fired by me with the swiftness at my company. Mike doing a shitty job as the boss.

the National Labor Relations Act contains a provision, Section 7 (29 U.S.C. § 157), that gives all employees the right to "engage in concerted activities", including the right to discuss their terms and conditions of employment with each other. Section 8(a)(1) of the NLRA (29 U.S.C. § 158(a)(1)) makes it an unfair labor practice for an employer to deny or limit the Section 7 rights of employees. Based upon those two provisions, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has taken the position for decades now that employers may not prohibit employees from discussing their pay and benefits, and that any attempts to do so actually violate the NLRA. Courts have basically uniformly supported that position.

The investigation should start at this question.

Why would the sheriff go to great lengths to protect her?

Latest update:

She stole nearly $159,000. There’s a weird paragraph in there about an email that has no context and needs to be fixed. Some quotes from residents getting fed up. Not a lot of new details:
