Well. Just because I haven’t posted a lot in the past couple of years doesn’t mean that I don’t read every day. There’s probably lots of people out there like me.
I just took an interest in this thread because it’s hilariously interesting. And I remember the days when the OT was called out like this and figured that the outcome would also be predictably hilarious.
I haven’t been too disappointed.

One of the big takeaways from the situation is that LSU does a very good job raising money athletically, but not academically. Mann agrees and argued that people, the governor, and the legislature ought to do better by the flagship university and students.

Also, how does the university get the facilities he’s been pushing?
“We’ve got to get back to understanding that football is fun, but it is not the driver of our economy the way our educated populace is,” Mann said.
Finally, he talks about his initial response to LSU Athletic Director Scott Woodward announcing that LSU Athletics is reevaluating their fund-transfer policy.
“My intial reaction is disappointment and that maybe the timing was really bad on the heels of what happened last week,” Mann said. “I don’t think the optics are good.”
