Bad storm came through and we had to cross a bridge with water running over it. We couldnt go back as a tree fell in the other direction. Couldnt see the bridge at all, didnt know if it was there. Friend got on the hood with a stick, I got in the back and was ready to jump in case we got swept away lol
the Huey P connecting the east & west banks of Jefferson Parish was scary AF to cross before a major redo several years ago (2010-ish I believe)... it was quite narrow and seemed like it could fall at almost any moment
The I-10 bridge in Lake Charles that is at a very steep angle is a top contender as well
ETA: and I'm not exactly sure how the Hwy 11 "5-mile" Bridge connecting NOLA East & Slidell survived Hurricane Katrina while the I-10 Twin Span was dragged into Lake Pontchartrain

that's a very good nominee for someone whose concern is cycling
the Lakefront is a very popular route for cyclists and that Wisner Bridge was a seemingly dangerous place for cyclists
ETA: obviously talking about before the re-build
