Whats the deal on the free college stuff

Free 2 years of CCollege for every citizen that can hold a 2.5 gpa and finish in 4 semesters. Says how we gave all Americans free HS and now the world has caught up and it's time to up the ante.

Says that it's similar to what they have in TN. Any posters from Tenn that can shed any light?

you don;t have to promise/talk about how great America is, you should be defending america and protecting us from terrorists. We all know america is great, we live here, we have defended it since 1776. we need you to move us forward . we are the greatest country in the last 200 years, your job is to make sure we are the greatest country for the next 200!!!!!!

And I'm guessing we should do that by going to war with North Korea, Iran, Syria, Russia, and China and spending a zillion dollars on our military. Right?

Only one more SOTU from President Obama

Republicans should have boycotted the address to send a message. I like that the more conservative Justices didn't show.

Speaker Boehner should have closed the house and not put the address on the agenda

It's in the Constitution that the POTUS has to deliver a message to the joint congress but no where in it does it say he has to give a speech or a SotU

Very as in with the way the economy is headed there will be many many more people educated out of any decent earning jobs. Which will just continue to expand with technology. There will come a time where it will be more economical just to pay the bottom half of society to sit at home.

Not at all. We need un-skilled labor. Not every person needs an education past the 12th grade.

You realize we could shut down the entire Department of Defense and still run a deficit right?

I'm cool with cuts in Defense spending... but lets make similar percentage cuts across the board.

hahaha - nothing matters until we can reform mandatory spending. Thats our biggest problem and it stays the same until the votes are there to change it.

ETA: Almost everything should be on the table

I'd have hated to see our state of foreign affairs had Ron made it to office.

People need to keep Ron out of their mind when thinking of Rand lol
