I'd have hated to see our state of foreign affairs had Ron made it to office.

Given 60, 70 years ago, citizens would hate to see what it is today. A base in 50+ countries? Fighting wars, or paying for them, for other countries? Its too much.

The isolationist stand may take a lot of flack, but to be the world police at the detriment of putting the cost on the U.S.'s citizen's back isn't worth it. To cripple oneself with unrepayable debt for the illusion of safety will make us more vulnerable, than we are trying to avoid, by doing it.

That said, I have my own thoughts on Rand. I say what the hell. Rand '16.

the question is.. how valuable to the economy is education? and the same offer should extend to trade schools IMO

And at that point you cannot logically cut off funding at any point and must fund all the way through to PhDs.

So you're either in all the way or you're not if you're in support of universal "free" education

What a surprise. A know-it-all shitboomer whose greed and selfishness helped contribute to the shitshow that is the world today. Your generation inherited a world of unlimited possibility and proceeded to absolutely destroy it for all future generations, dodging drafts and waging wars like it was going out of style. Good game, you uneducated frick. If only Sarah Palin's death panels existed so worthless shits like you could get the karma you so deeply deserve. Well, it's coming, one way or another.

This. People like this geriatric frick thinks the country became shite overnight. It was the choices his generation made that fricked us. Now today we are scrambling as a country to fix the issues we are plagued with as a country divided. Dems and Reps fight like cats and dogs no one truly wants to solve our issues. Everyone wants to stick to their party affiliation whether the proposed solutions makes sense or not. And now that we have had a 1/2 black 1/2 white president the racists are more prevalent than the 1950's. I haven't been on this Earth long but I have never seen a president be so disrespected on a day to day basis. The way some people treat the leader of this country is down right disgusting.

Are you six years old or did you just miss Bush's entire presidency?

I bet a lot of English said that when the continental Congress was drafting the declaration of independence you red coat loving traitorous frick.

The actual reason for the founding of this country was so that the people can and should criticize the leader of the country when he is fricking things up. It's the corner stone of the American Republic.

Name me a positive from Obama's presidency or why he deserves our respect and compliments. I'll wait. And I don't give a shite if your black, white, pink, communist, or anarchist. I'd like an answer.
