My sister is in Vero Beach. Told me she'd leave her home on John's island but wasn't leaving Vero. I told her bye and good luck. pretty damn stupid if you ask me, but she said she wasn't fighting the traffic with two horses and her dogs.

I bet the horses have a different opinion.

Bradenton. Nothing happening today, beyond an afternoon thunderstorm. But tomorrow night, Sunday and maybe Monday will be "interesting" and probably scary a little or a lot. My bride is spooked.

Not me, but my disabled brother is on the northern edge of Lake Okeechobee. He's on oxygen and dialysis, and I'm nervous about what might happen to that small town.
