She won’t be hitting the runways in Paris, but honestly not as bad as I expected.

And Apple maps says this place is permanently closed.

I've always wondered who actually stays there. Lets see if we can have a reddit style AMA with this daughter here

I've been to both of those, wouldn't go to Staring Motel

Man that's splitting hairs. They are all nasty. I'd sleep in my truck in a Waffle House parking lot before I slept in any of those

It's definitely not. I drove by it yesterday and always have a little morbid curiosity to see what kind of people are hanging out there.

The earlier Nextdoor thread on it is still there, I had to look for it after reading the current one. It's actually a poll and comments, titled "Poll: Urban Blight: Staring Lane Motel".

Kind of interesting as some people who have lived around here forever are chiming in and defending the place and the family who own it, saying they help people in need and the place/people there shouldn't be judged.

It’s open. A lot of those properties facing Staring are very deep and owned by old BR black families. I killed squirrels and a lot of quail on a few when I was a kid.

I once spent a few hours in the Fountain Motel on Airline. No way in hell the Starring could be any worse.

They shouldn’t, it’s a family owned business that isn’t harming anyone. It’s not like murders or drug busts happen regularly there. It looks shady so everyone on this site assumes the worst while nobody here actually knows anything about it

In 2014 we collected $150 on here and got the poster Walt oreilley to stay there for a night.

Please tell me that place doesn’t cost $150 per night.

This has to have a story with it. Why only a few hours? Do tell.

I always think of Motel Hell when I drive by, "It takes all kinds of critters, to make Farmer Vincent's fritters." They don't make fritters, do they?

I would have to check in before I could check out. No thanks. Hard pass.
