By actively and encouraging alien religions (and cultures) to take root, we accelerate that process. And we know the end result looks like too, multi ethnic, multi confessional societies, are violent and unpleasant places to live. They’re dysfunctional.

The more multi-cultural the US has become, the more peaceful it has become, despite a massive increase in population. Your position is curious given the deference you place on traditional conservative structures which were also incidentally far more cosmopolitan than the Westphalian model, but I don't think your powers of observation could pick up that dissonance.

I'm 100% sure you'd make any place you'd live unpleasant, though.

How could a building like that only bring $250k?

I’d assume massive repair costs needed and limited resale opportunity?

While a striking building, financially it’s probably not so great to own.

Old churches get sold all the time to church organizations.

We should have never given them Constantinople. It's been a slippery slope ever since.

Short of using it for a place of worship churches are not great investments. Their scope of use is very limited.

Dang, you're right.

Every Islamic-dominated area is peaceful and prosperous and is a beacon for human rights.

My bad, I should've checked my common sense at the door.

Wow. Did the Catholic Church own it? Amazing that they would sell for it to be turned into a mosque.

I realize all you good Louisiana Catholics have a hard time understanding this, but the Catholic church has been led by some hardcore progressives. It's not totally outside the idea that they intentionally sold it at this low of a price as well. It's more about progressiveness than Jesus to a majority of the leadership.

Cash exchange was $250K. No telling what the assumed debts were.

The diocese in Buffalo had to file for bankruptcy. They were hit with 800 sexual abuse lawsuits.

Wouldn't have to sell buildings if they hadn't molested a bunch of kids. Serves them right.

No Western country is going to become 'Islamic-dominated' you dumb dipshit. Reactionaries have been suggesting that since the 70's, including predictions in the 1990s that France would be upwards of 25% Muslim by 2020. Those predictions were off by a significant margin. They will continue to be off because none of your morons understand demographics.

I'd rather you dudes just move away if you don't like what the US is becoming. Love it or leave it bitch.

Very symbolic of what is happening right now. We are undergoing the same shite as the UK back in 1999. Path is the same. Will take a bit longer because we started with a lot more people.

Putting Hollywood and Liberals in a weird position because they are so anti-christian. However Christians in general are pretty tolerant. The radical muslims.. they will take your fricking head off man.

It's coming Hollywood.

Uh oh, a reactionary chud is angry. It's crazy that Louisianans of all people try to call other places shitholes. Dubai, Paris, and London are all way nicer than anywhere you live.

Love it or leave it brother.

You gave a reasonable, intelligent response to your position in a previous post.

You fell pretty quick to name-calling and a dramatic, whiny response when someone disagrees with you.

Have a great day.

Calling reactionary people angry is mostly descriptive. As in reactionary politics is by definition driven by anger, especially considering the sundry losses suffered by that side since the French Revolution. They'll continue to lose and thank God they won't ever understand why.

You haven't given me anything to respond to, ergo, I call them like I see them. You've never had an original thought in your whole life. Next time I'll treat you as one would treat an injured, deeply retarded baby bird.
