don't know who that is. I just like to play devils advocate...they were both drunk. I doubt he intended on raping her....or better yet that he thought/knew that he was raping ehr

she was unconscious. At what point would you consider her consent vitiated, if she was dead?

she was unconscious
was she conscious when the act began?
Did they know each other?
Do you think he set out to rape her?
Was he of sound mind when he began having sex with her?

I'm not going to hold your hand through this because you're too lazy to read any of the numerous in depth news stories about this which cover all of these specifics in graphic detail.
Maybe you don't want to know because you're afraid it will shatter your ridiculous notion that "legitimate rape" never occurs, women are all liars, etc. It's really just sad.

just read 3 news articles and my questions weren't answered. They were at the same party which leads me to believe they had met. Whether or not she was unconscious prior to the act is unknown.
The prosecutors must have thought the case was weak if they were only going for 6 years.

this is one of the most ridiculous conclusions I have ever read on here.

you can write the rapist in jail since you apparently are such a big fan

Great, so I can meet your black out drunk daughter at a party, and drag her behind a dumpster, and continue to have sex with her after she passes out? You won't mind? Thanks dad! You are literally a rape apologist. Ironically, I'm sure youre one of the people going ape shite on the Poliboard about migrants doing the exact same thing in Europe.

Calm down. Why are you so mad about this?
Posted on 6/8/16 at 3:42 pm to Mo Jeaux
because I think rape is bad, and he thinks it's ok? Does that need to be elaborated upon?
Posted on 6/8/16 at 3:42 pm to REG861
another brilliant conclusion on your part

Do you honestly think it's ok to continue to 'penetrate' someone you just met, who is so drunk that they fall unconscious in the act? Yes or no.

Yes, I would in fact recommend that you not only further elaborate, but first reassess using logical thinking and not emotional overreaction.

Feel free to answer my above question, as well.

I don't typically deign to respond to asinine questions.

Hell no!
Why is the guy held responsible for what happens when both parties are drunk but the woman bears no responsibility? They call it impaired for a reason...because people generally aren't capable of making the best decisions. I have no idea if this guy intended on raping a vulnerable woman or if he was so impaired he thought it was consensual sex...and I believe they only sought 6 years because of the alcohol involved.

does the latter somehow absolve him of rape?
serious question
if I drive impaired, it doesn't matter if I think I'm ok to drive or not, I'm still getting a DUI

as you should. Do you agree people make bad choices when alcohol is involved?

of course
as do women...
but if he was so drunk that he didn't know she was passed out...that is still rape

I don't think in the Stanford case he ever penetrated her. He was so drunk he was just dry humping her.
