I hadn’t been by there but I know for Katrina it took awhile to get power back because the power lines were messed up in that bayou that runs by River Oaks and hard to get too. Not sure if that’s the same situation this time or not. My parents were living in River Oaks when Katrina hit.

Both neighborhoods were hammered. Driving through is very sad.

Damn that sucks. I have great memories growing there.

West Mandeville is getting fricked square in the a-hole with all this shite. My area hasn’t had a tree on a line since Tuesday morning FFS.

I'm in Old Mandeville. We still have two trees on lines in what I believe is my grid. One is certainly in my grid; the other might not be. We had 10!

I saw several power co trucks on that service road Wed evening. Fontainebleau Dr adjacent to CCC got power back Tuesday night.

That is a lifelong trend. ALL of them from the feds to local. Vile worthless incompetent POSs that think they are untouchable and important.

Also, I just saw an email from our HOA that it could be a few more days for the sanctuary. I'm assuming this would be a similar Eta for Woodstone and other surrounding neighborhoods

Haven't seen much of our elected officials

To those who have already gotten power back, specifically Cleco customers, was there any kind of notification or website update prior to restoration? Or did it just come on with no warning? I keep getting the ‘evaluating’ message but haven’t seen anything in the way of updates, so I’m wondering if they’re even providing them. Any feedback is helpful. Gotta make a decision today on whether to bail for a few days or wait it out. TIA

Live off of 25 just north of the Girl Scout camp. Has anybody seen any Cleco trucks on Highway 25? Folsom

Outage map shows only half of Rosedown. Any idea if it's the whole neighborhood?
