Talked to the crew and they said they are trying for today. No promises. They have to get to the line/ tree on foot and work. They can’t get and trucks back there. If they can get the tree down, we are In business.

They are holding up 1085 power to work on us. Said Terra Bella is ready to go but they are waiting to fix ours before they go hot.

Also we were restored about 6 or 7 days after Delta .. I never ever saw a truck in our area. So just because you don't see one doesn't mean they're not working!

St TAmmany just posted this on their FB page:

St. Tammany Parish Government
34m ·
PSA:
Our Emergency Response Crews, Utilities Crews, and Public Works Crews are having a difficult time locating addresses for some homes due to damages to mailboxes and houses.
Our response teams are asking for your help! If you have a home that has a downed mailbox, or an address that is not visible, please make a temporary address for them to see. Use cardboard, wood planks, sharpie markers, spray paint or whatever supplies you have available so long as it is visible from the road. Please avoid placing it on top or near your debris so pickup crews don't accidently take it with them!
Thank you for being a part of #teamtammany and please help us spread the word!

Also about 4 bucket trucks on Lamarque in old Mandeville so I’m hopeful we may be lit up today or tomorrow.

Can’t wait get regulated power back on so I can crank my AC down to a chilly 78 and finally get some relief.

That’s a situation where any decent neighbor would happily trade booze (or nothing) for a small amount of power

You got any neighbors with a 4 wheeler or side by side? The power is off, the lines wont kill you. Y'all can handle 1 tree. Doesnt have to be perfect just get it off the line.

Oh no doubt. They’re good neighbors. I was being facetious. I’ve got a small generator going. But if gas gets low I may go ask so I don’t have to sit in any more long lines haha

I don’t have an atv but I’m willing to take the short ride over there if they’d let me help in any way I can.

It’s still suspended way up there. Pretty sure they have to climb up to cut it down. Not 100%.

Was told CLECO is saying “a few more days”. Who knows but I have not seen 1 power line down in this area. And a great surprise is the damage here looks minor compared to Katrina. Never expected that to happen. Supposedly Woodstone and part of Beau Chene have power?

Hopefully we get some news on hwy 22 and causeway blvd soon. Haven’t seen Cleco mention a thing about it. It’s definitely one of the least damaged areas that I’ve seen.

I drove around 22/west Causeway all morning and could not find any damaged lines. The only ones I could find were at the light on 190 and the service road that goes to foubtainbleau
