Thanks for the tip and response. The mind is a very powerful thing. There’s a reason your mind moves to a form of self torment (debilitating anxiety) and it helps to shine a light on the cause. Often a lacking from your parents in some manner. ...

Thanks for the response. That tracks with my previous episode I had about 6 years ago. It just went away for the most part. I’m convinced major life events exacerbate the problem. Do you regret being put on meds?...

Bumping this thread as the information has helped me greatly. I had bad health anxiety 5 years ago after my parents divorce and with time it went away. Now, with the birth of my amazing 4 week old son, anxiety is heightened with me hyperfocusing on health because I want to be there for wife and baby...
