go drive over to the mall parking lot and see how many line trucks are staged there. they are still cutting trees off of roads and off of people's houses. this weekend they should be able to start repairs but this outage in that are will be measured in weeks, not days
That parking lot had only about 15 trucks left in it 10 minutes ago. The other 60 or so are out and about.

Utterly ridiculous that I can not get any kind of update of Tangipahoa. What a fricking joke!

Even the news stations just skip over tangi.

They were showing the number of outages for entergy. Something like 3000 for st tammany. Not a single word about the 63000+ in tangi which was listed right below.

Parts of hammond are pretty fricked up, but youd never know.

ETA: that was fox8.

Tallow creek has about a dozen trucks in the neighborhood along tallow creek blvd ready to work on our lines. Looks like we might be in luck.

I closed on a house in Old Mandeville Friday afternoon.

Got maybe 15% moved in before Ida hit. Anyway, watching some of the stuff in this thread, there is no way all of Old Mandeville is back on within a 2 week timeline from the time of this post. Adair street in and of itself is almost totally destroyed, my street has downed lines all over the block and that's just my block.

I hope to be wrong, but that's what I saw on Tuesday.

They move quicker than you think and as more areas get restored it frees up those resources so it moves faster and faster. After Laura my town looked like Mandeville does now. My power was back in 9 days and I was one of the last to be restored

There’s over 100k customers in St Tammany with no power. But I agree Tangi got hit just as bad and haven’t heard much on the news.

Ya, they were just looking at entergys customers, those numbers didnt include WST and cleco.

They were on the poweroutage.us website which is kind of cool.

For this storm Tangipahoa is the "landmass" between metro Nola and Baton Rouge.

I’m hoping they can get it done today. If not, me and my 11 year old son are gonna go on a covert mission tonight and secretly run extension cords from the neighbors house behind us. They got power last night.
