See the upcoming episode of "Wife Claims Husband Killed by Aligator" on Forensic Files, Very Scary People, Evil Lives Here or maybe even Lt. Joe comes in and solves this one.

Nola.com had this story up.

Alligator had the guy in a death roll and ripped his arm off.

When the police finally came, there was enough evidence of arterial spray to back her story.

People there have been feeding gators.

IF true, that would be the first verified alligator fatality in Louisiana.

Is this true? I keep telling my wife that it’s safe to ski, but she insists that gators are waiting to get her.

As far as they have been recorded, yes. Almost all fatal attacks have been in Florida, with a few in GA and SC.

I’ve lived here all my life, but this may be the most Louisiana story ever. Covers all the bases…
Hurricane check
Flood waters check
Alligator check
Pirogue check
Higher ground check

Louisiana has more alligators than Florida. The difference is Florida has so many more millions of people so they’ve built up into gator habitats and the gators live amongst the people. In Louisiana they’re mostly confined to the basin, spillways, and coasts.

Well, if the gator did in fact rip his arm off, and there was so much arterial blood spray to prove gam gam's story, then the good news is grandpa was probably dead/passed out when he got dragged off.

When they broke the story last night the leader in the clubhouse was that the wife was destined to end up on an episode of ID's Snapped.

I'm in the camp that they will find ol' baw holed up somewhere with a homemade prosthetic and and wearing gator skin suit.

*Hat tip to Mr. Wright on the Twitter comments for that one.

How can there be evidence of arterial spray in the water?
