I don't understand why that is surprising. Cops
Are looking for crime so they stop any thug looking ride for breaking laws to see if more is going on. And don't say they stop them for no reason bc the cops here do that crap all the time. It's common and brings in big bucks.

I have two that I talk to. One daily, one monthly.
Neither have any bad cop experiences. One grew up in Houston, the other in Baltimore. Both have highly successful families in spite of tough situations.
My friend from Baltimore lost both parents in a train accident when he as around 10, raised by his 18 year old sister, scholarship to run track at a Big East School, now is a professor at a College in NJ. Lived in Conn, La, Tx, AZ, NM, Wash, and has never had an issues. I just texted him, "what do you think of Ferguson", his response 1)f u, quit trying to keep me down.

Got a white friend of mine ddrove a truck with extra tint, he has a letter saying he can do it because of the transport of a product he sells.
He got pulled over on the regular, he got it lightened to legal, but it still looks dark, and he still gets stopped. He gets pulled over because he is too stubborn and likes dark windows. I drive the same truck, with the factory tint and have never been pulled over.
We generally choose our own misery.

Asked a black colleague of mine.
He said zero. The same number of times as me.
And he's from Houston so it's not like he grew up in a low crime area.
You know the difference? He's educated, well mannered and not a total shite head.

That is your best post. That is true and if not passed down you would hear a lot less about it. I'm not sure this isn't a chicken vs egg came first argument though because I can see from the last few days how much these people absolutely hate cops so I find it hard to beeline they are very respectful when there is an encounter.
And I've had way worse treatment from cops dude and I'm white.

It would not be the first time I was wrong. But I've never lived in the county where there arent black people the same socioeconomic status as myself. And I've lived in a lot of counties and I've had several different socioeconomic statuses.
