Why? They may be ordered to deploy in armed vehicles, wear riot gear and carry auto weapons. They are choosing to randomly aim them at people. I seriously doubt this is the order, if it is they should disobey and quit.
Too many folks have not been raised with firearms from childhood, and have not been taught to respect the power of a firearm.

This isn't what was happening. And I'm pretty sure they make binoculars.
There was a guy who took pictures of an officer in riot gear from about 15-20 feet away. This image I remember from Wed night. The officer looked at him and brought his gun up. When the amateur photog said are you pointing that at me (or something like that) the officer brought it up till it was trained directly on the guy. They were yards apart.

And don't try to cite Tuesday night when the group of 4 individuals were roaming the streets with shotguns and one apparently pointed the gun at an officer and was subsequently shot. That was not a protest/riot.

This whole shite is stupid.
I think there are enough white people in the deep south to know that NOT all black people are this way.
We are also old enough to have watched the black youth culture go down the tubes.
To think anyone did this to them but themselves is white guilt. To think that anyone else but them can pull them out of it is also white guilt.
There needs to be a paradigm shift in the black youth culture and Medea needs to be on the porch instead of the "youths" and she needs a pistol in her hand and the "youths" need to be whipped from her house and every house in between until they've gotten home.
They need to start policing their own. Take the neighborhood back.
