Allow me to re-phrase b/c I don't feel like getting into this much further. This law is horseshite, adults, because thats what they are in the eyes of law, should be able to decide for themselves if they want to smoke

Agreed. If you enlist in the military, you should be able to buy tobacco and alcohol when off duty, no matter what age you are. But if you aren't actually enlisting, that shouldn't apply to you at all

Terrible logic
If you are an adult in the eyes of the law, you should be able to purchase and use anything that isn't illegal.

Tobacco and alcohol are illegal until you hit the right age.

Mike Brown would have prob never been killed by that cop if tobacco purchase age was 21.
There would have been no reason for him to steal those cigars

Ridiculous, they're adult citizens able to vote and go to war. It's a blatant violation of their rights as citizens. It'd be no different if the government passed a law saying black people or some other segment of the population were no longer allowed to purchase cigarettes
Does it really matter? Has any age restriction on anything ever actually stopped anyone? I was a regular smoker by age 16...I never had any issues getting it prior to being 18. I don't smoke any more, but that's just it...there are those who are going to smoke and those who aren't. There is nothing that will stop someone from a habit like that. Going from 18 to 21 is like drawing a line in the sand and saying don't cross it.

So I guess prohibition doesn't work unless liberals say it does?

Heroin is illegal for everyone. You're missing the point
it is, but heroin and cigarettes are bad for you. heroin is illegal because of that. So lets just make smoking illegal too... Lets go all or nothing. If you can go to war and possibly die for your country, and you can smoke cigarettes and possibly die from that...then why not let morons do heroin and possibly die from that too? Population reduction isn't a bad thing.

Yes.
I call bullshite. Maybe you've never smoked, but of those that have and/or still do, 99% probably did it before 18. As far as drinking goes... 100% did it before legal age.

Uh no, Missouri has one of the lowest cigarette tax, prices in Country
Missouri sales tax combined with tobacco tax make it the cheapest state to buy tobacco in. People do bootleg from all the surrounding states.

No they aren't. An 18 year old can't be arrested for possession of Skoal.

Yes. But your hyperbolic rhetoric is hilarious and gets far beyond the point at hand
