Did these guys card each other?
Now my understanding of what happened is that group had a few different ages associated with it and sometimes when these things are escalating in a mostly dark environment, it can difficult to tell how old someone is...add alcohol to all this and you have a recipe for disaster.

Look, I am not going to badmouth your friends because we don't know the whole situation
But once you become an adult(it sounds like your friends are 21+), you shouldn't even ever be close to a situation where getting in a fight on a levee with high school kids is possible

No let me be clear , I’m not friends with this group as a whole and neither is my friend. It was bad timing on his part and without saying too much , he did not throw a punch nor was he the guy with the bottle.
He actually tried to help but ended up messing up in the process.

Exactly. This dude would rather be treated like a bitch and have stuff stolen from him than stand his ground. I'm not saying either side is right or wrong because I wasn't there. But if you steal from me then challenge me to a fight, I'm not going to worry about checking id's before issuing arse whippings.
