Sprouts opening in Rouzan Wednesday

LINK

Baton Rouge shoppers will have a new supermarket to visit beginning Wednesday morning as Sprouts Farmers Market opens it doors in the Village Center at Rouzan.

The 30,000-square-foot store will be the first Sprouts location in Louisiana. The Phoenix-based supermarket chain specializes in organic, healthy foods and freshly prepared meals. It offers a full deli, seafood, butcher and bakery departments, as well as an expansive vitamins and supplements section.

Solid shop for fresh veggies at reasonable prices. Beats the hell out of Fresh Thyme.

If we are being honest, it beats the hell out of Rouses or the non-premium AG stores too.

I don't care. I'm still doing my shopping at the Triple S where I can light a candle at the shrine of St. Alton.

I used to go to Sprout’s a lot in Texas. They always have great deals on high quality produce. It’s a more compact/less boujee Whole Food’s or TJs.

Sprouts is awesome. I hit the store up here in Murfreesboro several times a week.

Shopping at TJ's is actually infuriating to me. It's always packed and about half the shoppers seem to be oblivious to the world around them.

Sounds good. You can smell the farts when you walk into Trader Joe's and all of their packaged TJ line stuff sucks.

Terrible location. Won’t do anything for the killings in NBR. Was Gravy consulted ? They could have made him a partner. Sprouts and Gravy.

Better than Trader Joe’s? Bad location. Are they going to put a light there?

Trader Joe's isn't a traditional store. I would never go there unless I needed something very specific

People just walk around looking at the subpar shite in the shelves

see, this is why I hate organic food. shite doesn't last. Get the good stuff from Walmart or Piggly Wiggly and you get all those preservatives that make the stuff last for weeks.
I don't have to buy veggies but once every two weeks when I get them from a real grocery store.
