When it comes to music, there’s been a healthy bit of an attempt to censor from both sides. We’re not that far removed from the Washington Wives and musicians testifying before the Senate over their lyrics.
The last time I can remember this happening, it was spearheaded by a Democrat politician's wife and it was in the early 1990s, literally almost 30 years ago.

This whole idea that, because the government isn't censoring things then we shouldn't worry about it, is completely ridiculous. What we've seen from big tech the past few years are the beginning stages of a technocratic fascist state, where big government and big corporations ally and collude to deprive individuals of their liberties without any actual recourse.
Don’t forget the biggest stick the government wields: the banks. If/when they pressure banks, or other financial services companies (payment processing, credit card etc) not to lend to or do business with certain types of businesses guess what happens to those businesses?
They don’t need to ammend the constitution or pass any new laws, the power is already there through regulations. If you twist the arm of the financial sector through threat of regulation, you control every one of their customers. It’s already started, but it’s going to ramp up exponentially over the next 4 years.

You disagree with me? You are “disinformation”

Then by all means, keep giving them money. Personally, streaming music is less important than propping up monopolistic corporate thought police.

Getting unreal except it is real. Scary.

That sounds like a pretty dangerous thing for society as a whole right?
Would be the equivalent of the largest radio stations o refusing to play late 60s early 70s anti Vietnam messaged music.
