This is where I think you're wrong, Rog. Unfortunately this age group has basically been programmed to think that NOT finding a fairly average or below woman attractive is some sort of toxic masculinity. I ran into this a few years ago when I dared mention that Victoria's Secret was starting to use fairly unattractive and out of shape models and most guys here jumped my arse for it.
Keep in mind, this is what I had posted and they defended. 
Now VS has gone even further, and this is what SI's Swimsuit Issue has become.
