This is where we differ.

I live by the mantra: It's about money. It's ALWAYS about money.

Nothing I've read/seen/heard has swayed me from that where 9/11 is concerned.

The specifics of the event itself are academic and cannot be proven to both sides' satisfaction, which IMO is why the focus has always been there - to keep us fighting amongst ourselves - rather than on who benefits.

Money/greed/power are not "VERY good reasons" for the lies, IMO.

I've already outlined the money angle in this thread and I won't keep repeating myself, but throughout history wars have been waged for no other reason than lining the pockets of the elite. This one has all the earmarks. There's nothing new going on here. Simply more of the same.

I also find it interesting that the PNAC document clearly maps out American hegemony. It was published a year prior to 9/11 and included the following chilling statement:

"the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event––like a new Pearl Harbor."

Exactly. There are people who were in the buildings who say it didn't happen the way the government wants us to believe. So who do we believe?

Why do you think your conspiracy theory is the correct one?

probably has something to do with planes flying into the world trade centers and the ensuing destruction of the buildings, filmed on live TV. Just a stretch but that might be where people got their crazy beliefs from.

The only conspiracy is the loons that think we are to believe it’s the same government that was either:
1) Too inept to prevent this terrorist act from happening
2) So smart as to pull the most public and bold conspiracy in the history of the world off successfully?

Here's the funny thing about it. Truthers say our retarded government was able to pull this off. We rigged the world trade centers with explosives, trained pilots to crash planes into them, blamed it on muslims and got us into war.



And for what?

What good did it do?

Are we better off now?

No. We spent fricking trillions on a stupid war, put our country into massive debt,, our military lost respect and soldiers are killing themselves, we have to get half naked before we can fly on a plane, and george bush became one of the most despised men on the planet. Sounds like a fricking awesome outcome. All of that, plus destroying the world trade centers, pentagon, and killing 5,000 just to instill Terror in its people.

We may have killed Bin Laden, but this was overall terrible for us, and their attack reached much further than the people who died on or because of 9/11.

There's an old saying...."you can't make sense out of nonsense". And nonsense is the best way to describe what these conspiracy theorists are spewing. There is NO frickING WAY the government could pull off a conspiracy of this magnitude a keep it quiet for 14 years and counting. It would involve countless numbers of people and someone would talk. As to the Muslims, it's well documented they hate Western Civilization. Look no further than the Beirut barracks bombing, the 1993 bombing of the WTC, Khobar Towers, the U.S. Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, the USS Cole. Are these all conspiracies as well? But trying to reason with these idiots is like trying to explain Shakespeare to a goat!
