Ok. Putting the map of what the time zones actually are would help with making whatever point you are trying to make.

Central is the goat. I hate Eastern

My company is based in Los Angeles and I actually like going out there because I feel like I get so much done. My body clock always wakes up around 4/4:30 and I’ve already worked out, showered, dressed and caught up on email by 7am. Feel very productive. I don’t mind turning in early to stay on schedule either

Your central/eastern time zone map is wrong for FL. Central does not start at the FL/Bama line. Go 200 miles east on I-10 from the state line and bam! you cross into EST, at the Apalachicola River.

Actually, the time changes west of the Apalachicola River. Port St. Joe is ET.

It's never shown on maps, but the town of Phenix City, Alabama observes Eastern time

Go to Google maps, go to 30.633543, -84.904535, go to Street view and read the green sign on the bridge, dead in the middle of the river.

All I know is that PSJ and Apalachicola are in the ET zone. There is a sign on Highway 98 between Mexico Beach and PSJ. Also one at the Intracostal on Highway 71. All well west of the river.

And you also know that the time zone crosses I-10 in the middle of the river, per the coordinates I provided to you so you could look at the sign. You're welcome.

Yeah dude, but I10 is way north of the coast. The boundary juts out to the west near the coast. Have you ever spent time in that part of Florida?

Had to go there for a workshop for my job and I asked them how they deal with it, they said "It just works."

No, but i spent a little time in Apalachicola and vacationed on St. George Island. I had family in Niceville and used to know a lot of baws from Bagdad and Milton.
