Yes. I always pull over out of respect for the deceased and the mourners.

I'll typically pull over if there's room, at least until the hearse passes

Another thing I've always done is remove my hat if I'm wearing one as the hearse passes

Not sure who taught me to do that when I was young but it stuck with me

In VA out in the mountains, we also pulled over until the last car passed. Some got out the car and bowed their head too.

I'm sure those days are over.

Junior: [waiting for the "funeral procession] Damn, he had a lot of friends, didn't he?

Buford T. Justice: If they'd a cremated the sum-bitch. I could be kickin' that Mr. Bandit's arse around the moon by now.

what's the etiquette on passing up a funeral procession? not cutting off or cutting into one, just passing it up. came across a funeral procession that was in the middle lane of I-10 east just outside of Lake Charles a couple of weeks ago, passed them up in the left lane.

I passed one up on 110. they were going 45mph in the middle lane.

just a few weeks ago they had one coming down Airline. I was on the other side but there were a ton of cars pulled over. I just drove on through. It was like the Red Sea parted.

A funeral procession will never catch up to me
If it's a 2 lane road, i'll pull over for the hearst, then go on my way.
Not pulling over on a 4+ lane highway
Not going to try to pass through one if i'm at a stop sign or light and they are passing through.
