What if they only want a certain amount and the can is 12 oz.. Why should they finish it? I don't really see why one would have an issue with this.

I can drink a lot. Soda, water, whatever. At a restaurant, I can get a few refills of water before the food shows up. But I'm fairly certain it is impossible for my wife to finish a drink. I've never seen her do it. If she leaves 2 oz in the bottom of a 12 oz can, you'd think she'd be perfect with a 10 oz can. But I bet money she'd only drink 8 oz out of that can.

Yes! She brings a new one into the bedroom each night and every couple days we clean a collection of half empty water bottles off the nightstand.
