Favorite would have to be Griffey auto on his 89 upper deck card.

Others: Jordan jersey, Steve young, yogi Berra, Lou Brock, aikmen, Eli, Peyton, Archie, Patrick Willis, deuce, earl Campbell and quite a few current/future nfl HoF games.

Those are usually the best kind.

Rapper Lil Flip autographed a CD for me with "To (my name), the King of Krunk"). So, I've now developed a small collection of "King of Krunk" gag autographs.

I've got a ton of signed sports cards, mostly of Braves.

My favorites are Aaron, Murphy, Bream, and McGriff.

Autographs aren't necessarily about "hero worship." Some are historical (including the context of film history). Some related to someone's connection with the person giving the autograph.

Some are just cool:

Some a gag autographs, like Amber Lynn's baseball autograph:

Jack Dempsey, Mickey Mantle, Richard Nixon, Ted Kennedy, Cool Papa Bell, Pete Rose, and about 500 hundred MLB players.

I'd have to say Bill Mazeroski since he was my favorite player when growing up.

I have a signed Michael Jackson CD myself...not a fan but he was signing autographs at an in-store Tower Records once so bought a CD and got him to autograph it.
