Both my kids 5-7 are covered by private health insurance. They are both "patients" of Dr Smith pediatrician and we see himm twice a year for their" wellness" checkups.

But when one comes down with a bug, starts running high temperature and I call to get her in to see Dr Smith, I am invariably told the next available appointment is ten days hence!

So, invariably we end up at RediMed or an emergency room

WTF!?

There's a easy solution here. Get a new doctor.

The kids are probably getting sick because your house isn't clean enough

Switched ours because of this and the fact they took Medicaid. Constantly full of certain people of Latin descent.

Ours has a NP that you can see right away. She’ll call in the Pediatrician if necessary. I’m fine with this and they explained it from the forefront. And all the MDs in the group are top notch as well.

You poor thing, having to associate with someone with a darker skin tone. Must have given you the vapors!
