Exactly. That's what the anti-law rabble don't seem to understand.

Well, to properly answer this question you have to assume there is an objective set of moral and ethical rules.
Assuming there are such a set of moral and ethical rules, it is pretty easy to see that these set of rules may vary to at least some extent between person to person.
The laws on the books are created by groups of people that cannot hope to account for the morals and ethics of every single citizen.
So, in a very general sense, it's pretty much impossible to believe that everything that is permitted by/forbidden by the law will account for my moral beliefs, or really anyone's.

Laws don't dictate morality or ethics. That is determined by the individual.

We live under a system of law and order that gives us as citizens the ability to elect legislators who then create laws. Just because they will inevitavly pass laws some don't like, those laws will be binding on everyone objectively.Anyone who breaks the law should face the consequences whether they agree with it or not.

Great argument for segregation !
Seriously though, our laws are created by deeply flawed, fallible men who often violate them. They should not be viewed as sacrosanct. They shouldn't be wantonly ignored and trampled on either. Civil disobedience is a very important gesture and often a moral one.

We don't have segregation anymore because the law was enforced, not because everyone realized segregation wasn't cool.

That wasn't the question though. The question was do you believe everything that the government says is illegal is truly immoral or unethical.
The answer is no, and is probably no for every single person in the nation if they think broadly enough. We want morality to be objective, but that is often not entirely the case, as people can have different moral codes relative to their cultures or experiences. There is no single set of laws that can hope to account for every persons moral code.

Do you mean like wearing your seatbelt? No, I don't think its immoral or unethical to not wear your seatbelt.

Good point, but in a civilized society our subjective moral codes have to be subservient to an objective legal code. The only alternatives are rule by a whimsical tyrant on one hand, and pure anarchy on the other.

If you're a follower of the Christian faith then yes, breaking laws set by superiors is immoral.

So every law that the evil godless liberals make is moral then?

Yes, if you believe that God has a purpose and predetermined destiny for EVERYONE then those ppl that make laws are in their position due to Gods will and Gods plan.
Romans 13:1-7
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. ...
