LOL
Please define what an incompetent ambulance chaser is because this guy is obviously doing great by ambulance chasing standards.

Yeah he is actually a genuinely nice guy. Sure, when you build a helipad the poors are going to hate because they can’t understand someone’s time being worth enough to justify that, but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad person. Lot of jealousy in this thread.

I'm a lawyer, but I think it is somewhat disturbing for our society that we have these megawealthy plaintiff's lawyers. I know some of them and like most of them. Generally, you have to have a good personality to be a successful personal injury attorney (or a very aggressive prick LOL).

The Illinois class action lawyers are the most egregious example.

I know nothing ab law, but am curious, would these personal injury lawyers make it outside of chasing ambulances or whatever that entails? Do you have to be a scumbag to make it in that line of law? Do you think any of them could be successful outside of personal injury law, which seems to be mostly settlements before court (idk if thats true but from my perception thats what it seems).

Does that matter? The guy took advantage of a legal method to make a fortune. How could he possibly be faulted for that?

A substantial portion doesn't think beyond their private parts and their stomach.

I'm not even sure I blame them anymore, as it doesn't feel very productive these days to think of the wider world.

Of course it does. It means he's a shitty lawyer that his it big with a stupid jingle. Sorry if you can't see the difference. He personally lost one of the biggest impact personal injury cases in years, that has saved insurance companies millions.

I prefer Dudley and Dubosier

Theyre the official injury attorneys of the LSU Tigers

What does that have to do with his fortune though? I’m not saying the guy is the best attorney that ever lived, the thread is about his helipad.

Voluntarily participating in and contributing to a morally corrupt system to make yourself wealthy. You're asking how he could possibly be faulted for that?

I understand that some people believe that whatever benefits them is automatically correct, but some other people still believe differently, so it should not be difficult to understand why some may fault him.

This one time on Facebook about 6 years ago, I offended the frick out of his wife. I had no idea who she was. But when I put it together, I was worried he was going have me offed.

Tell him Mikel is very sorry about being vulgar on the Facebook to his wife.

Ambulance chasers are rated according to the number of billboards they have, the number of TV commercials and the lavishness of their office.

The best ones never even go to court, but their commercials are fresh, innovative and appeal to the lowest common denominator. Going to court means you don’t have time for filming.

Oh so now people who sell cigarettes and booze are bad people? I’m obviously kidding and get your point but I definitely don’t see what Callahan is doing as morally corrupt. His firms most certainly takes cases that are frivolous but I’m sure he has also helped plenty of people that legitimately needed legal representation.

Point well taken, of course Louisiana is corrupt. We’ve known that for hundreds of years. That doesn’t mean that Spencer Callahan is a bad person and that his helipad isn’t justified though.
