It’s a racket. The doctors are in on it. They’ll treat any symptom the plaintiff wants to complain about. They’ll give an “expert opinion” that those complaints are related to the accident solely based on plaintiff claiming they had no symptoms before the accident. Then they’ll treat long enough to exhaust whatever coverage is available on the policy. Almost 90% of polices issued in Louisiana are $50,000 or less, conveniently the limit on how much elected (with significant contributions by plaintiff attorneys) judges can award without a jury.

I don’t why the insurance companies haven’t hired investigators to provide evidence that these guys are knowingly filing false claims/ suites and providing rigged/ fraudulent doctors records. To me this is pretty easy to prove, much like investigators do on workers comp claims they feel are fraudulent. Start exposing this bs and the whole house of cards will come down.
