Speedometer recalibration needed

So, I put some bigger tires on my truck and now I assume the speedometer is going to be off a bit. Are there any shops that recalibrate the speedometer or will I be forced to buy the machine and do it myself? FYI, I am in the Lafayette area. Thanks.

I THINK if it's a 2014 or earlier the dealer can do it but the new ones have to have a calibrator that you buy. Try f150 forums.

Yeah, I was thinking a shop would buy one and do the adjustments for a fee.

Car companies and their engineers spend millions to design a vehicle where everything fits and works together. If you aren't a car/truck guy (which apparently you are not), then leave the vehicle as it came from the factory.

i wouldnt recalibrate it
i've never worried about it on other trucks i've owned....it will only be off by a couple MPH....and think of it this way....your odometer will actually show slightly fewer miles than you've actually driven

Then bigger tires gonna suck when the power steering pump goes out on the F one hunnit fiddy
