Speeding ticket photo nola

Got a ticket for going 26 in a 20 on Canal St. in front of Warren Easton in Nola(Oct.26). Is the photo trap still legal in New Orleans? $75

You don't have to pay if you don't park in the streets in NOLA.
If you do, speed all you like for the next three months and then just get a new license plate.

Yep. Just pay it and move on with your life. Those damn things are the reason I drive 5 under the limit wherever I go. I've given those people enough money for one lifetime.

I don't know about Louisiana, but here in Georgia they'll get you for going one over in a school zone. Most police officers won't pull you over otherwise unless you're going 11+ over. Really only the state troopers will... or little podunk speed trap towns.
It seems like they don't even send tickets for the cameras here since my wife runs a red light once a week and has never received a ticket.

I didn’t know they did that for speeding. I thought the photo was just for red lights.

Just received my speeding ticket in the mail for going 25 mph on Magazine in front of St Katherine Drexel Prep school. Says posted speed limit is 20.

20 is BS. School zones in Jefferson Parish are 25 and that is more than slow enough. F your cameras NOLA.
