Anyone live near Cypress in the 70001?

Jeebus it's like Watkins Glen. I've never seen the speed limit disobeyed on a back street as I do on this one

With all the potholes and speed cameras in Orleans, Metairie/Kenner is a speeders wet dream.

Avron, Kawanee, Poplar, Live Oak, Elise, Houma, Camphor, etc are all like that IMO.

Would never buy on a cut through street

25 - 30 don't bother me.
I find the worst speeders in kenner tend to be the Pandas themselves.
Though I would love to have speed humps like BR has. I asked the mayor (Yenni) he said not safe for emergency vehicles.

Not safe, because kpd makes shortcuts to set up brake tag traps or runs four stop signs, to get a kid who California rolls one., Drive against traffic to get a guy with no blinker on, while in a turn lane, or back out into traffic, nearly causing a wreck to stop someone for no brake tag.

If you don't repair the roads, drivers will naturally drive 25 mph. See Lakeview.

I live on one of the smoothest streets in my section of Gentilly and people drive like maniacs down it all the time. My previous car was totaled due to some dumbass flying down the street and crashing into it.

The fricking speed limit on Avron between Transcontinental and the nun place is like 20. Ridiculous. Go across Transcontinental, and the speed limit on the same street is 35

I only do it to pass people by cutting through the bike lane
