Wow, these folks are NOT good at this kind of stuff. The right answer is to take the thumb drives and never say a word. Put her on “tilt” from the get go.
Once it’s obvious she is freaking out pretty badly, you use her blackmail against her. Offer her the “walk away” option or the jail option.
She committed blackmail. Tell “I’m going to the cops and will blow up your life unless you sign these papers”.
He has to have his stuff locked down when he does this though. She’s going to lose it.

Wife’s best friend who lives in Texas caught her husband cheating with hookers and filed for divorce. He moved most of the money to his own accounts - hid over $400K. The judge nailed his arse to the wall - gave her damn near everything. Did not work out like he thought it would.
