You are exactly correct, so much had changed after the crucifixion, why would you live under the Old Testament laws? It made no sense to me once undecided to research things for myself

Lucky for us,

nothing has changed since the crucifixion.

Earth is still the center of the universe, and everything in it revolves around us.

Understanding how large the universe is only makes me feel that much more special. Sad the people living 2,000 years ago didn't have our perspective to see all the earth reigns over,

jews would definitely have accepted christ.

Would it be too much trouble to give us a reference verse on that?

It's kind of a huge part of his message, but if you want a place to start read Matthew Chapters 1-8. Or John 12-16

I'm very interested in religious beliefs and find them fascinating. That's all. And it's a public message board and I use it as a means to pass time when I'm bored.

Well, it's a huge part of his message as interpreted by non-Jewish people following the teachings of Paul.

There are Catholics that speak in tongues too.

LINK

They see images of Mary in strange places too. I remember when cars lined up in Tickfaw to see the image in the top of a pine tree.

I ask a priest once why no protestants ever see Mary and he matter of factly stated that she would not appear to those that doubt her holiness.

Interesting.

You should check out r/christianity and r/exchristian. Way more interesting than this thread.

Thanks. I will. I very fascinated by "heresies" throughout Christianity and Islam. There are some very interesting groups that were out there.

It's the same exact thing. The apostles spoke in tongues after the Pentecost, one of the languages they spoke was Aramaic.

People in mass churches who "speak in tongues" think they are speaking Aramaic through the grace of God but in reality they're ignorant tards

Yep. When the Apostles spoke in tongues, each person in the audience heard their own language.

If someone is speaking gibberish that nobody understands, they're not speaking in tongues.

This might be the longest we've had a religious thread go. Good work guys, we kept it civil and didn't piss off the admins. Well done to us all

Speaking in tongues makes about as much sense as original sin.

These threads, they make you feel better about yourself, right?

That's all you ever say on these threads. Even though it has little to do with that. Educate yourself on the subject through independent sources and you should come up with a similar thought process. Its called logic.
