I said this to my wife a couple of days ago. Once these astronauts hit earth's gravity after being weightless for several months things might be dicey in terms of breaking bones and such.

I have no rational justification for saying this but I have a bad feeling about their return.

As you should. This is very high risk.

Why are you just concerned for “her?” Does Butch Wilmore have some secret to avoiding these issues?

All it takes is one wing nut employee with access that opposes the politics of the owner and wants to make him look bad.

And s fr as another poster mentioned, the amount of money SpaceX earns from the US taxpayer, it’s simple mathematics. NASA laid the groundwork for a commercial space program of which there are several. When compared to ULA, Boeing, and even Blue Origin, SpceX is way cheaper and more reliable and the race isn’t close. The NASA SLS program will probably be dead soon.

What other company would you use for the price? Do you keep hitching rides with the Russians?

She is an old woman who is already at risk for osteoporosis. I don’t know why I’m the only one concerned for her. I guess we’ll see when they get back. Although if she dies in a few weeks nobody will report it.

Were they actually abandoned by Biden or is Benny making sh*t up?

I mean I suppose the argument could be made that it's hard to hold a senile man responsible for his actions, but.....
