OP look into the muellers lofts downtown.

Caution, knew a guy who lived there. Said the insulation between lofts didn't exist and he could hear all his neighbors at all hours of the day and night. He finally left.

well i was still working in fire protection at that time and was there when it was going up and he is telling the truth. But it or the other lofts in that area would still be my choice to live if i was under 25 and single.

Huh? What is wrong with going out while you are young? I don't see a problem with this.

nothing, but if you go to the exact same bars with the exact same people every weekend then you are a degenerate. Also if you do the EVERY weekend, you are a degenerate. There are other things to do besides go out to a bar every damn weekend even at 21.

Ate in LC for lunch a couple years ago and their "Shrimp Poboy" was boiled shrimp on French bread.

you ate a Darrells shrimp more than likely. They are really the only place that does this and the shrimp are not boiled, they are sauteed in a butter sauce. and that sandwich is one of the best poboys in the state. In fact Darrells poboys overall destroy pretty much any other establiments poboys and its not close.

How the hell you could not like any Darrells poboy is beyond me.

Next time stop at Darrells and get the special with Jalapeno mayo or the surf and turf with Jalapeno mayo and you will change your mind.

I had a Darrell's special not long ago. It was good, but I had a hard time calling it a po-boy in the traditional sense of the word.

Listen chief, there's nothing wrong with hunting pussy in bars every weekend. Some places just have more bars with more pussy to hunt at. Unfortunately, if you are in Lake Charles, a young cocksman will run into the same loser hard legs chasing the same trashy pussy each and every weekend. There is no variety and it gets old quickly.

Ummmm yea there is something wrong with it. A true cocksman realizes there are other and better avenues to meet classier women. Doesn't matter where in LA, if all you do is goto bars every weekend you are trashy as shite. If you lived and NYC it would be different considering the amount and different types of bars and even then its borderline trashy.

and those same trashy girls you see every weekend.....you are that trashy guy, just saying.

Sounds like someone got their feelings hurt and is taking it out on Lake Charles as a whole. Saying hard leg and Cocksman in the same sentence makes you sound like the hard leg...haha

You'll grow out of the bar hopping and tale chasing. There are finer things in life. I know its hard to realize at 22, but you will see it one day.

concerts/music scene

Lake Charles probably has a better music scene now with the Casinos. I don't know why the Cajun Dome can't get anyone good to play there.

Do you really think it's trashy to catch a game at a bar with friends on the weekend?

Really some pretty nice people. Unlike Lafayette, they don't have that elitist attitude.

Because if a band plays in Baton Rouge, they can't play in Lafayette. Bayou country superfest comes to mind
