Yes, that they were short staffed in Jax due to a “sick out”…. Then it was claimed that mixed with bad weather, that caused the cancellation of 800 flights and then an additional 1000.
Hard to believe you’d need to cancel that many flights off of weather in florida.

This board is filled with fricking morons. Yesterday there was a thread because someone was outraged when he saw kids wearing mask. Someone said that the FBI is following parents who don't want their kids to wear mask. I thought that was pretty crazy and clearly he would be the only one who thought that.. Nope!
A lot of this board must listen to some far right media that tells them a bunch of bullshite. That's the whole problem, people from both sides buying into crazy shite people on both sides are putting out and they all want to go at it.
I wish they would. Get rid of all of them so that there would be less idiots.

I’m not listening to bullshite. I know first hand SWA pilots are using sick out time due to the mandate and so are a lot of ATC controllers.

Damage control as far as they have to abide by the Railway Labor Act apparently.
The RLA really handcuffs unions in transportation and if it were to get out the sick outs (Blue Flu) are union sanctioned the union leaders could be charged by the Feds.
