I'm from Lexington, not Harlan. I've lived in Atlanta, NY, Munich and multiple other large global cities. I've spent weeks at a time in Paris, London, and Lisbon. My guess is that you haven't.
I'm not saying that the Philly and NY Cheesecake is global cuisine but it beats most other "American" food.
