It's not a myth. I've witnessed it firsthand in my profession and heard it from family/friends that work for major corporations out of the ones you listed.

I'm not saying it's not possible for an SU grad to do well, I'm saying there's a lot of them that get degrees that get the job (over more qualified candidates) and are shitty at it because of the lack of knowledge/caring.

I don't need to see a cow being slaughtered to know the end result is hamburger meat.

And I can say the same about TAMU, LSU, and Georgia Tech grads that I've worked along side that didn't know shite. Like I said, it all falls on the individual. You should never debase an entire segment group based on the shortcomings of a selected few.

Didn't mean to type that. I was talking with a co worker about the thread and he mentioned that in his experience but it was not my own and I typed it by mistake.

Dude, imma be straightforward. You need to stop with the SU threads. You are doing more bad than good, and also bringing out the trolls.

Yeah, say what you want, but the list of companies attending isn't too shabby.

All jokes aside, i worked with two "civil engineers" with degrees from SU in the past. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but they had to be two of the most ignorant people on the face of the earth.
