If accurate, death for Louisiana drivers that cannot drive in any type of precipitation

Plenty of snow headed for Tim McGraw country.

I had a barbecue stain on my white snow fall.

7 days plus away, so don't get too excited. The Euro has been pretty consistent thus far showing a good band dropping a good 4-8" across northern LA and into Mississippi and Alabama. GFS flipping around.

The pattern is supportive of some southern snow and will be for most of January I think.

Boat, what you think for up there in Funroe?

what about south La? does the streetcar run when it's snowing? I can't drive around town with my truck nuts all shrivelled up from the cold baw.

This is about as accurate as the cold font prediction in early September

Tbh I haven’t looked at anything recently. I turned my weather brain off during the Christmas break. But this thread made me fire up the ol college of dupage site so I’m checking things out now.

Laughable for Southern snow predictions.
One literally cannot trust a 6 hour in advance Southern snow forecast, let alone 6 day forecast.

Check the long range too. Nice ridge over Greenland and Alaska/BC builds a nice ridge in for mid month.

To be fair, Tom Konvicka said not to get excited yet, but we may be in for a treat. Tom rarely gets it wrong.

It’s a little premature for a news channel to be running with this already.

But I guess that’s not as bad as Dr Josh H-chuss saying no way Baton Rouge gets snow while it was snowing in 2017.

Yup, it appears as well that snow would be possible all the way through South LA if the precip would make it that far. It's not the conditions holding it back.
