Confirmed tornado per NWS Birmingham.

I made it through that one. Let's see what the one behind it does.

That Marion/Franklin county warning was really good coordination between NWS Birmingham and Huntsville. Near simultaneous warnings from two WFOs in two different counties.

Absolutely raining its balls off right now.

I hope this never happens. NWS Birmingham is awesome at handling warnings. We don’t need someone in Norman, OK handling warnings for here.
I'm torn bc while I do admire what Bham has done i make it clear in most threads that I think Memphis is trash
I guess I just wish someone would step in and improve Memphis

Go ahead and add NWS Huntsville to the frick up list with how they handled this current tornado warning and the original one.
I had been trimmed out of if. They drew a whole new polygon, included me, set all kinds of alarms off, then had to cancel the original warning because the new one completely overlapped it.

Marion/Franklin storm has weakened quite a bit.

I’m in Meridianville tonight and it’s been a heck of a thunderstorm.
We got lots of rain but so far that’s it.
Fingers crossed.
