They dropped a new episode, stopping in Scott. They're loving Louisiana

There are some good peeps in Tennessee. I’ve lived here for 20 years and never had a bad personal interaction. Both Knoxville and Nashville area.

I moved to Montana 11 years ago and I've caught a lot of trash talk for being from the south. What I've seen up here is some of the most beyond redneck backwards shite. This whole damn state is full of inbred and cousins who married cousins. They tell me how racist everything is in the south (most of them have never left Montana or Wyoming) but don't want to talk about their own behavior or comments towards native Americans. There are bad ppl everywhere in America but I give me the south any day.
Thankfully, Yellowstone made my home value shoot up and I'm headed back down south soon.

Easily.
They just don’t suck their own dik re: how friendly they are like the south does.

This just isn't true.
I moved to the Midwest, been here 3 years. Sure people are "nice" but they aren't nearly as friendly as LA and there's a difference.
It's a joke here in MN, they say a Minnesotean will give you directions everywhere but their house.
In LA you'll meet someone once they'll invite you to their kids baptism.

One of Minnesota's slogans is "Minnesota Nice"
They plaster it on fricking everything

If you live in the city you know to mind your fricking business.
They rural area is the same across the country

My nephew 17 now balled his fist to go toe to toe with his dad. Told him let’s take a ride. He asked me if I ever took a swing at my dad. Hell no! I don’t want to find out if he can kick my arse. Never was told to say sir or ma’am, Mr or Mrs…. That’s just what you said. I teach my daughter manners and respect.

Then why are most people on the board real dick bags? Im not saying this is real life at all but I dont think I have seen a rationale, good mannered person on this board. And in real life I have dealt with my share of rudeness, especially in Tennessee

I grew up in Alabama but have been in Colorado the past 11 years. There are friendly people everywhere you go, there are also people who don’t want to talk to you anywhere you go.
First place I lived, everyone was an a-hole, nobody spoke to anyone.
Where I live now reminds me of how I grew up, kids go over whenever they want, everybody’s friendly and says hi and asks about your day.
There is no geographical line that determines who has manners and who doesn’t.
I knew just as many arse holes in Alabama. Southern hospitality is a myth.
It’s all the same, just depends on who you’re lucky to interact with.
I’ve traded overweight black women for overweight Hispanic women. Both groups can be really nice, both groups can be complete bitches. Doesn’t matter where you live

Country people from WI will be nicer than city people from the south and country people from New England. In the Midwest there is a lot less focus or interest in class & status than the south and northeast which can skew things

I think most of the haters on this board are what the youth call “short kings” lol

The Midwest is a huge region.
You think people are friendlier in Minnesota?

The time I went to Colorado and Seattle the people were noticeably different from Texas, and not in a friendly way. Quite the opposite.
Texas people are nice, aside from some of the hippies and some of the Mexicans.

Montana is full of southern refugees that moved there after the civil war. Probably some of our worst cousins ended up there

I’ve had the fortune of traveling around a lot in my short life but Louisiana people are 100% the most hospitable in the entire world. Yes, world.
It’s the only place I know you can meet someone on the lake or at the dock end up riding around having a drink then somehow they invite you to stay the night because you are too hammered while they cook something homemade while you restand continue drinking.
There are amazing people everywhere in this world but in Louisiana you’ll see hospitality from rich and poor, black and white.
You don’t see any homeless starving in Louisiana. I’ll say that haha.

The average white person in Colorado or Seattle is a left wing anarchist that is tatted up, super into heavy metal rock, and hates normal looking white southerners. They know you ain’t from round there and they will let you know it.
I deal with much less of these people in Texas. But they were everywhere in those states when I visited
I guess if you live in the suburbs or small town it’s OK….

Places settled by Germans are less class based (in America)
