That looked like a fuel explosion (orange fireball and black smoke) to me.

That storm is starting to get absorbed into the line. Hopefully, its life is short now.

Good thing the shear isn’t too bad. If we had curved hodographs across MS with all these discreet cells it would have been bad

You can tell the different dynamics in play farther South. Some rotation, but updrafts are struggling. Seeing more hail down that way, though.

hope so, if not when it gets to the plateau that should kill this thing. it's been a beast all day

Should transition to a wind threat now, at least for the northern extent. I think if we were going to see any pre-frontal stuff in north AL it would he rolling already.

Hail still a threat on the more Southern storms until the line fills in.

Houston proper just had hail storm (peanut M&M size) for a good 10 mins. Lots of wind in addition to rain.

Yep, just got back to the rig. Looks like it passed just north of us. We're down the road from the Opry. Lots of sirens and think we heard a transformer or something blow up.
