This came across my Twitter/X feed while I was running my dishwasher (hey at least it's a Bosch and runs really efficiently).

We have been so busy clearing stuff out I haven't been able to look, I'm fairly confused but think I have I figured out. My normals dependable local weather crapapp shows basically no chance of rain for the next 24 hours on either the hourly (I know, worthless) or the daily yet I'm seeing super cell chances and a tornado watch

Maybe the super cells not being widespread is throwing off the app algorithm?

I'm out at a college baseball game tonight... they're calling for winds 15-20 gusting to 40 from the south (which is feeding all the shite going on to our north)

The way this field faces... the ball will be hopping off the bat to left & left-center

God I know this will derail the thread and get me 350 downvotes but isn't 6:30 am a little early to be walking to a school bus stop?

Not really. It varies a lot and some districts lack enough bus drivers, so these early pick ups are now normal.

My parents are in Faulkner County, Wooster/Greenbrier. Just had to call them and make sure their safe room is ready.
